Who does Liberated Performer® work with?

Liberated Performer works with people of all genders, nationalities and ages ranging from around 12 - 70 (so far!). Anyone can learn and benefit from the Liberated Performer program.

What is "round the clock support?"

Round the clock support is your ability to text/call us anytime during a course. That's crazy right? Yeah, we don't take many vacations. However, we do sleep and will be performing and coaching but we'll get back to you ASAP. Round the clock support is based off of our great experiences with our private teachers. They would help us if we had questions, attend as many performances/auditions as they could, and would help us out in any way they could. Audition and performance preparation is a tough one to conquer so we are all in with you if that's what it takes.

What level of performing do I need to be at?

The Liberated Performer program is based off of the baby step method. The baby step method is powerful because no matter what level you come in, there's a path to the top. In our consultation, we'll determine where you are in your development. Once we determine that, we'll generally know how long it will take to complete the program and which program to sign up for.

What kind of success can I expect after enrolling in Liberated Performer?

Liberated Performer's best clients have won auditions, competitions, and management at the highest level. This isn't a guarantee for every member but we pride ourselves on the commitment to excellence and long-term success. During our consultation, we will set expectations and form clear goals so we are on the same page. Check out the Success Videos on the Coaching Page.

How often do I have coachings with Liberated Performer?

1 on 1 in person coachings usually occur once a week. However, similar to normal music lessons, the number of coachings per week can increase if a competition or audition is approaching.

Are my coachings confidential?

Everything you talk about and do in Liberated Performer is between you and the coach. There are times where a coach will share information with another coach, with your permission, in order to better help you. Confidentiality is important to us to ensure a safe environment for growth.

Is it legal to perform in public?

Check your local laws before performing. In NYC, it is acceptable to perform in certain places without amplification.

What about the safety of my instrument?

If you perform with your own instrument, you'll assume full responsibility of it's condition by signing a liability waiver at the beginning of the program. However, Liberated Performer recommends renting instruments or using our collection.

Where do I meet you for coachings?

We meet at different places in the city. Liberated Performer doesn't have a designated performance/coaching place. If you are outside of New York City and the Bay Area, we will see you via Skype, Google Hangouts, Zoom, or Facetime.

How long do coaching sessions last?

The length of a coaching usually lasts 1 hour like a typical music lesson but will sometimes run over. Even though we run over, it still counts as one credit (one hour) of coaching.

Is it really a 100% money back guarantee if I'm not satisfied after the first coaching?

Yes! Before we even get started, we will know if we are a good match during the consultation. Similar to a good private teacher, we value the importance of being able to work together!

What are follow up sessions?

Follow up sessions are meant to help you sustain your success after coachings are completed. The length of the session can be an hour, or divided into 2 half hour sessions (recommended). The coaching content can range from going into detail about an idea, any questions that have come up, and or special requests. Just remember, coachings and follow up sessions are for YOU. You also have the flexibility of saving these sessions for later on. They never expire.

How are coaching sessions scheduled?

First of all, sessions never expire. If you do not use your full credit, you will always have the ability to use them. Coaching sessions are first come first serve according to availability. Similar to scheduling with a private teacher, we will coordinate a time that works for the both of us.

What's the cancellation policy?

Every member is granted one makeup coaching session if they miss a session for any reason. After that, you will be charged as normal even if you don't show up.

What is the refund policy?

If for some reason you accidentally bought the wrong program, you will be given a full refund within 7 days assuming no coaching session has been completed. If you decide that coachings are not right for you, you will also receive a full refund within 7 days assuming no coaching session has been completed. After 7 days of your purchase, you will not be refunded as the sale will be final.

How do I pay the coach?

We accept check, cash, venmo, and paypal. Details about payment will be sent upon sign up.
